Victor Piţurcă: "Help me now!"

Victor Piţurcă tries to motivate the "tricolors", asking them to defeat Serbia if they still want him as spotter   

The spotter discussed yesterday with each important player.

"Please, if you still want to work together at the national team, please play for me, too on Saturday. Think that if we don’t defeat Serbia, I might be dismissed, and you might not be in the plans of the next spotter. So, my fate but also yours depends on the result of this game. The spotter warned the players with respect to the Serbs: “Don’t forget that they are very good in counter-attack. Be very careful!”. Incredible moment: at the hotel, hearing the coach speaking louder, Mutu said to him: “Take it easy, Mr. Piţi, because the press will hear you and they will write about you in the newspapers like they did with the stenographs!”.

"You are the most appreciated"
Besides, Victor Piţurcă delivered his straight message in the reunion from Monday, when he showed his optimism: "I trust in the Romanian team and the players convoked. They are the most appreciated and the best prepared. Contra, the stake on the experience
It is very important that Piţi has chosen to stake on the unity of the group, by convoking some experienced football player who are having problems at their clubs. The best example is Contra (33 years old), who was announced by the spotter that he will title him no matter if he had played or not on Sunday at Getafe. "I need you! You have experience in such difficult matches, just like it is the match with Serbia!".
