Xabi Alonso’s transfer shows us once again that in this industry-football from the Occident everything happens according to some strategies well fettled, which includes also a plan B, in case the plan A may not function.

The 2nd step: on august, 3 with Liverpool already in Barcelona, "Marca" goes further with the subject Defour, the title on the first page being: "People like him very much". The 3rd step: exclusive interview with Defour, at Liege. "You may be as good as Alonso. If Real calls me, in two hours I will sign". We are already on 4th august.

Seara, Real Madrid and Liverpool make an agreement for Xabi Alonso in exchange of 30 millions. Nobody knows anything about Defour.
