After they missed the transfers of Grandin and Diakite, Rapid has finally managed to make the first acquisition in this winter.
Edgars Gauracs (21 years old) will be borrowed from Ventspils until this summer for 50.000 euro. Rapid will also have the first option to buy at the end of the season. If they want to keep him, the officials from Giuleşti have to pay another 450.000 euro.
Gauracs has evolved in the turn at Ventspils, the vice championship of Latvia, and along his career he has also played at Ascoli, in Italy.
