Approachable group in the preliminaries of Euro 2012

Articol de Gazeta Sporturilor   —  duminică, 07 februarie 2010

The national team comes back in the limelight. UEFA has announced the component of the 6 urns, the "tricolors" being included, as it was known, in the second one. The fortunes brought France, Bosnia - Herzegovina, Belarus, Albania and Luxemburg as adversaries of our national team.

Mirel Rădoi: "We will see if against France we can obtain one point or points. It is important to win with the other teams"

France and Albania are only teams which defeated Romania among the adversaries of the group D

Gică Popescu: "We have a very approachable group!". What do you think?

"It doesn’t matter what happened in the other campaigns for qualification, I think that this group is very approachable. We have a new coach, things are not the same anymore and I think that it will be an equal struggle even with France to obtain as much as possible from this new adventure"

Anghel Iordănescu: "The group is very approachable, we should qualify!"

„I wasn’t lucky at the ballots, the team had value. This group must be watched with trust, is very approachable, and Romania should qualify. We play with France, which is not the one we knew, they change the generation, I think they will change the coach, too, and we have a great advantage”

Cristi Chivu: "We hope to save something of this rumpled image of the Romanian football"

Mircea Sandu: "The group is reasonable, we are the first favorite after France!". Do you agree?

„We remain the second favorite of the group after France, in some kind of fight with Bosnia. It is a reasonable component of the group, we have to fight and see what happens in the end. I hope to qualify at the European Championship from France after the World Championship in the summer, I am sure that they will try to avoid this, but we’ll see how the schedule will look in next period”

Dumitru Dragomir: "It is extraordinary! We and France are favorite"
