The average of goals at this edition of the World Cup in the first 5 days of competition (1,64 in one match) has decreased in comparison to the last 6 editions of the World Cup.





In 14 matches disputed in South Africa, until Tuesday, there were scored 23 goals, i.e. an average of 1,64 in one match.





At the WC from Germany 2006 there were scored 2,30 goals in a match.

At the WC from Korea and Japan 2002 there were scored 2,52 goals in a match.

At the WC from France 1998 there were scored 2,67 goals in a match.

At the WC from USA 1994 there were scored 2,71 goals in a match.

At the WC from Italy 1990 there were scored 2,21 goals in a match

At the WC from Spain 1982 there were scored 2,81 goals in a match.
